R&R Airport

In 2004 HartsfieldnJackson International Airport served as a hub for rest and relaxation flights for members of the armed forces in war zones. Three hundred soldiers arrive from Iraq or Afghanistan for a 15-day leave every morning, and 300 depart every night to return to war.
