Haitian Coup d’etat
In 2004 rebel forces took control of towns across Haiti leading to a standoff in the capital of Port-au-Prince. Within days, Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide fled the country leading to chaos and instability. United Stated marines were eventually deployed to stem the chaos.
