How It Works
The OPS mini family photo sessions are back. In a new location and for three days only November 2nd, 4th and 5th. Upon arrival you will the find the location photo studio set up outdoors under a canopy on the back deck. After checking in it will be time for your mini personal family photo shoot. We start with a classic portrait of your student or students. After shooting a few family photos we turn the studio over to you. For about 5-10 minutes you are the photographer or the models or both. With a remote trigger and a screen to see every photo you take, your photo session will most likely take a turn toward the silly. Once the photos are edited and toned, you will receive a link to your photo gallery where all of the photos from your shoot will be available in both color and black and white. Most sessions will have a gallery of 20-40 photos to choose from. You are free to download any or all of the full resolution images to do with as you please. You will also have the option to purchase prints directly from your gallery. If you would like to book your session simply scroll down below and look through the calendar for a date and time that works for you. The cost for the 15 minute photo shoot and the included digital downloads is $100, payment is due when booking the reservation. We hope to see you in the studio! Sessions are limited with only three days of shooting this year.

Book Your Session
-What happens if it is raining?
If the forecast calls for rain on your shoot day, we will reach out to you 24 hours in advance to cancel the shoot and make every effort to reschedule for a later date. We will open up new calendar days and ask that you choose a time that works for you on the new dates. If rescheduling is not an option a refund will be issued.
-What if I need to cancel my session?
You can cancel your session up to 48 hours prior to your appointment. Based on demand we will open time slots for rescheduling. If you do not wish to reschedule your session you will be given a refund minus a $3.00 processing fee. If you would like to cancel within the 48 hour window prior to your session, you can reschedule your shoot in an available time slot. No refunds will be given for cancellations made with 48 hours of your session.
-Can my children who are not OPS students get a portrait?
The first few minutes of your 15 minute session is dedicated to portraits of your OPS children by the photographer. Once you are handed the controls and go into “Family Self Portrait Studio” mode, you are free to use that time to make portraits of your other children or do anything you want.
-Will extra days shoot days be added if all the time slots are taken?
Due to our students being back full time in school, the only days that will be available to book will be based around the OPS schedule. That means the 2nd half of the day on 11/2 and all day 11/4 and 11/5. Unfortunately, no additional days will be added.
-What do you mean by “Family Self Portrait Studio”?
The self portrait studio is great. Imagine a “Photo Booth” that is actually a photo studio. There is professional photography and lighting equipment along with a “Vanity Fair” style canvas backdrop. The only difference is you are the photographer. You are handed a small camera remote to shoot as many photos are you like in your time slot. Each time you take a photo, it appears on a computer screen in front of you.
-Will there be social distancing?
Absolutely. Only your family will be in the “studio” during your shoot. Families will be asked to wait outside in a marked area for their turn. The photographer will always be wearing a mask.
-How do I get my photos?
Once all of the shoots are complete everyone will be notified that their online galleries are ready to be viewed. From this website, you will find your family name in the drop down menu below, enter the password that was given to you at the time of your shoot, and then all of your photos will be at your disposal. You can download the photos to your devices as well as choose from a wide variety of print sizes and other products available to purchase through your gallery with the “buy photo” button.
-Our dog, cat, goldfish, llama ect… is part of our family, can we bring them?
Sadly no, we ask that only humans come to the shoot.
-Are the photos color or black and white?
Both, all photos will be made available in both color and black and white.
-What if we want more than 15 minutes?
We tried to design it so 15 minutes will get you lots of great photos, however if you want to take some more time or you have a particularly large family, you can book more than 1 time slot, but be sure to try to get 2 time slots in a row.

View Your Photos
Click on the drag down menu to find your gallery where you will be able to download your photos and purchase prints. You will be asked to enter the password that was given to you on your name card at the time of the shoot. Download any or all of your photos and click the “Buy Photo” button above the photos to browse the print products available, including fine art prints, canvas wraps and prints on metal to go along with traditional photographic prints.
